He managed to wriggle out of all of his other messes because he was able to keep people quiet. He was able to ignore subpoenas for members of his administration.

This virus is not going to do what he says or what he wants. He has no control over what may happen.

He does have control how the administration will respond to it and he is screwing it up badly.

The virus may not be his downfall but his handling of it very well may be.
