Bob I dont think you know how a pandemic works or how the market reacts towards this kind of events. First this is not just any flu, it can spread without being detected that is dangerous in itself Second people are dying from it. But that is not the point. The point is that just panic in itself not the disease will cause businesses to close their doors. What do you think people would do with a shortage of food or water or just basic services like electricity or gas to keep you warm over winter. Yes it could get ugly real fast. That is why the market is reacting to it.
