Actually we only had 1% gdp when Obama was in office and was the first President in history to never hit an annual 3% gdp. He said it was the new normal. He said America was in decline as the world superpower and all we can do is manage the decline. He added 10 trillion to the debt. Remember how he “saved” us from Bush (who is a war criminal and a lowlife) economy? From massive spending and artificially low interest rates set by the federal reserve. He also said those manufacturing jobs were gone and never coming back. And what magic wand did Trump have to bring them back, and get new trade deals, and it was just all talk. Fast forward, just deregulation and tax cuts alone sent our economy into overdrive. Obama’s burdensome regulations were choking small business and manufacturing growth and the middle class was disappearing. I’m a steelworker. During Obama’s 8 years we almost shut our doors. No raises in 7 years. Deregulation and tax cuts sent manufacturing confidence to 95% and sent manufacturing into a new golden era. This is where all the jobs started pouring in which sent the lowest unemployment in history for all demographics. We got our first raise in 7 years and hiring like crazy. With all the overtime I want when before was cut to 32 hours a week. Trump has had 5 or 6 rate increases by the Fed yet the economy is not slowing down. We also hit that 3% gdp annually the very first year. Obama getting credit for the current economy is laughable. The reason Trump was elected was because only big coastal cities felt the Obama recovery while flyover America was forgotten and suffering. Many blue dog democrats defected to vote for Trump. Oh yeah Trump found that magic wand cause he’s already got trade deals with Canada, Mexico, EU, and China which is unprecedented. The reason America forgot about Obama is because Obama doesn’t get credit for the soaring economy.
