So I don't understand what point you're trying to make.

The point I am trying to make is, in the case of Presidents (and not murderers like OJ), it is sometimes in the best interests of the country to not convict in the Senate, as was the wisdom for not convicting Clinton. In the case for Trump, it will be the American people who will be the jurors that decide his fate of removal from office.
