Nancy had a pretty good response too :)
Really? I thought it was rather childish myself. But, if you consider the position she has been put in by her cronies in Congress, with the impeachment embarrassment and the likelihood that she will soon be losing her job, I can understand her losing it and acting both churlish and childish.
She may have scored a few points with those that are as childish and immature, but the majority of American people see it for what it was. And many are now asking how such an important job could go to someone that lacks both the maturity and dignity her office deserves. She hurt herself and her party by her display of petulance.
Even, by some miracle, the Democrats hold the House in 2020, she will probably be replaced as Speaker. And she knows it.
