I am sorry that I must be too excited about the whole 'bribing' thing. borusa, if INTC decides to offer $200 per higher end Xeon chip as an incentive to counter Opteron, definitely 'bribing' is a too strong word. As it's not bribing, it is perfectly normal business practicing.
I am fine with whatever the definition everyone is giving to the HP deal to Sun customers.
