ForReal, Why did Trump ignore the advice of all his advisers to lift the hold for so long?

Why were so many, including even McConnell, given no explanation for why Trump's hold on Ukrainian aid was on?

Why was no explanation given for Trump's release of the hold on Sept. 11?

The answer to all those we know.

Because the reason the hold was on was that Ukraine held out against Trump's illegal quid pro quo
demand, because Zelensky didn't want to be dragged into interfering with America's 2020 election.
