SURG Overview:
Surge has created SurgePays Network a proprietary platform and digital retail supply chain to indpendent “mom and pop” retailers. Surge uses these “neighborhood depots” as profit partners to reach a large addressable consumer market of about 70 million underbanked or unbanked in the US Credit challenged and/or 100 million no contract wireless customers. Surge accesses this hard to reach market through this network of independent convenience stores and corner markets. The local depot. The relationship or “railway” into these neighborhood depots can carry hundreds or even thousands of products offerrings to the retailers. Surge has two consumer facing products in the SurgePhone Wireless and SurgePays Visa Prepaid that faciliate store activation, building customer base and of course generating significant revenue.
The CEO Vision staes, "building recurring revenue streams using technolgy to provide life enhancing products and services to underserved markets.” Empowering underbanked and uncerserved markets.
The Surge backbone is a fintech network, these payment and distribution railways provide Surge a competive advantage in ther core operations.
The rollout already started with AATAC, who has contracted to deliver 40,000 stores over the next 9 to 12 months.
More recently Surge acquired ECS, a network of 9,800 stores, with 160 ISO reps, doing 18,000 trasnactions a day and over $48 million in annualized revenues. This acquisistion closed about 30 days ago, so the increase in revenue should be reflected in 4th quarter.
Even two months of consolidated revenue from ECS acquisition at $4 million a month should be a 250% to 300% increase in 4th quarter revenue (this is based upon my reading of the press releases not any offical forecast by the company)
