While you seem to have thought a lot about the question of DES safety vs BMS safety, the more interesting question from a business standpoint is IMO going to be market share within in DES arena. If Endeavor and CoStar prove to have substantially lower rates of late thrombosis, as their manufacturers claim, Cypher and Taxus could soon be in deep doo-doo. Of course, JNJ protected itself to some degree by acquiring CONR.
