I see nothing concerning here....just fantastic news as mainstream adoption is upon us. This is a strategic move by Ripple for the purpose of pushing mainstream adoption. Its a vital move in making XRP the standard. Why not launch in the United States, or Canada or anywhere else? Because most people are banked in the US, and Canada. There is approx 1.7B people who are unbanked in the world and in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam the majority of the population is unbanked. The market in these four areas are massive and is why Ripple targeted these areas with Siam Commercial Bank. Vietnam alone has over 100M unbanked people and approx 75% of the population in Myanmar unbanked as well.
