Reality Racing, Inc. Speeds to Cincinnati for the Final Round of Its 'Season One' Contestant Search
9:35a ET December 6, 2006 (PR NewsWire)
Reality Racing, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: RRGI) President Lee F. Schaefer announced today that the company will hold the final round of the contestant search December 28th and December 29th of this year in Cincinnati, Ohio. This invitation-only event is being held at an undisclosed location and will be the final deciding round in the selection of fifteen contestants for Reality Racing - The Rookie Challenge, scheduled to begin shooting in January for its spring 2007 airdates.

Reality Racing, Inc. - The Rookie Challenge Pres. Lee F. Schaefer said, "After you get so many emails and meet so many great people at the live events, you get to feeling like you really are racing across a finish line. The excitement is incredible! These contestant hopefuls have been a vital part of our organization, and I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to be able to start production ahead of schedule.

"As we indicated last Friday, a lot of excitement has been generated by our recent news of a network offer. We were preparing to make our final selections for the show this month, but to do it at the same time as getting our new network home is just so amazing! We are so thankful to have been given such a wonderful opportunity to be part of something this real and this important to the world of television and sports. I can't wait to see the first episode!"

Only pre-selected contestants will be invited to the final search event, which will be held at a confidential location to protect the privacy of the final contestants. Those selected have already received their audition dates at this time. Over 15,000 racing fans applied to be a part of the show, and an additional 500 people appeared at contestant search events held at the Bank Atlantic Center in Florida on November 16, 2006 and the Greenway Theater in Los Angeles on November 26, 2006. From this group, approximately 200 contestants were selected for the final audition in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Reality Racing - The Rookie Challenge promises to be an action-packed, 13- week TV series, and is scheduled to air in 2007. Contestants will be mentored and judged along the way by some of stockcar racing's biggest legends, such as Bobby and Donnie Allison, Cale Yarborough, Rusty Wallace, Junior Johnson and Glenn Allen, Jr.
