When a company places an image of a property (with reference "Vaycaychella Client In Havana, Cuba"), while claiming in the PR they own holiday residences (see quote below), being quite shady about the old working name at the same time, it is quite obvious anyone would search this residence elsewhere on the web. All references are pointing to Mac Tourism hosting this location, while they clearly present the same house/image on their website. Would be very strange if they don't have any clue about anything going on here, if there would be

Nistel, thanks for your DD on this. I think I'm not being clear though in my reason for why I see nothing wrong here. I made bold the two key lines above. Vaycaychella (WSGF) owned the property, and sold it (financed it being the key thing here, with a mortgage) to the current owner, who is just some random person I'll call "Joe Citizen". Like with any mortgaged property, Joe Citizen doesn't completely outright own it until the mortgage is 100% paid off. If he defaults in paying, Vaycaychella can foreclose and take the property back. This is how/why the company can claim that "Vaycaychella brings a $10 million real estate backed asset to WSGF" (that line is directly off the company's web site). Now, Joe Citizen rents out his house, but doesnt want to use Airbnb or VRBO, because he's responsible for everything that happens. From what I'm reading MacTours is a great option for him, because they're a lot more involved. They do more of the work, and it seems cater to high-end clientele where Airbnb caters to everyone.

So MacTours is being 100% truthful....you can rent the Havana house through them for 400 Euros a night. But MacTours rightfully has no clue if the house is mortgaged through Wells Fargo Bank, Rocket Mortgage, Vaycaychella, or owned outright by Joe Citizen with no mortgage at all. MacTours doesn't need to know and frankly doesn't care. With this particular house, Vaycaychella is the one who holds the mortgage. So in my opinion, everyone is telling the truth here. Instead of thinking WSGF never thought someone would google the image of the house, they were far more prepared than that and actually never cared if anyone googled the image of the house. Maybe it's the wording Vaycaychella uses about "connecting would-be vacation rental homeowners with properties", but they're doing exactly what they said. A "prequel" to the Airbnb (or MacTours) type thing. They're not a real estate agent though, as they're finding houses that they KNOW will be killer rentals...or maybe have a long rental history...and both finding the buyer AND owning the mortgage.

All just my opinion, but I really don't see how this is any other way. Everything looks to be above board here, at least to me
