As many states do and should. Decreasing methane emissions was not a big o&g issue. Just the republican cow comments, lol. Methane is a product of decomposition and will never be totally removed. Many companies put capture in place and continue to do so as blowing off gas allowed for more oil and shorter well life. Oil has been very low for several years now. If consumers would pay more for ng there would be none at all but in many areas it was cheaper to blow off than pay the pipeline transfer fees. Laws to that effect would solve that issue.
