The abandoning of trump by more thinking conservatives is happening at glacial pace. Of my lifelong friends, etc. that are trump sympathizers, my logic would tell me that some would drift away due one of his atrocities or other, but oddly, they seem to dig in deeper, even guys I considered fairly bright. I really don't get it. They all seem to have some idea that he has actually accomplished things, other than a tax give away to billionaires, but never seem to be able to enumerate exactly what it is that has made their personal middle class lives better. I think subtle racism is the unspoken draw for trump, but it is not a topic that white guys talk about much so I am not sure.
