I have been hearing that line now for over 40 years. I wish it were true. Climate change is real. But oil is not going away for a long while yet. Change has and will continue to come very slowly, despite all of the happy talk. There are good renewable technologies out there. But the main problem is obtaining financing for these new technologies that simply havent been proven to be cost competitive.
Oil will continue to dominate for the foreseeable future.
