Yeah Texas property taxes are insane. 2.72% in Austin. I paid $3000 a year for a duplex i bought for $110,000 in 2005. It is worth $290,000 now so don't cry for me.

But remember i don't pay any state income tax, and nobody ever F's with ya in Texas, probably because they have a Glock 40 on their belt. Makes everyone extremely polite. This is the most polite state i know. The answer to every question is yes sir or no sir.
