$BIOAQ I doesn't matter whether anyone considers it different or not, I was giving an example of a delisted stock and the outcome for what happens to it in your account is the same. Whether it's in bankruptcy, revoked, delisted, whatever....the shares could literally sit in your account for infinity... Whether they're cancelled or not is irrelevant, if there is no market to trade them in they become worthless. That's the reality. This is an example from 2011', 8yrs ..almost 9yrs now, they still show in my account but the company is long gone. They still show a book value & market value. The market value still changes like a publicly listed stock but the shares no longer exist in a market. Yes technically the company is still around but the physical composition that made the company public & tradeable ceases to exist. Yes you can zero them out of your account by calling your brokerage, I just can't be bothered. I see it as a waste of energy.
