12/20/19 — Legalization of CBD in Foods and Dietary Supplements

This is the due date for the 2020 Agriculture/FDA Appropriations Bill, which currently falls under the title of Minibus #2

The word in DC is that Mitch wants to legalize CBD in the food supply and dietary supplements ASAP, and he is ready to attach legislation that makes this happen to the Agriculture/FDA Appropriations Bill

If Congress can’t get this funding bill done on time, the expectation is that they will pass a 1-month Continuing Resolution that funds these agencies until 1/20/20


1/20/20 — Legalization of CBD in Foods and Dietary Supplements

This becomes the new due date for the 2020 Agriculture/FDA Appropriations Bill (Minibus #2) if it doesn’t pass on 12/20/19

Mitch can attach his legislation to legalize CBD in the Food Supply and Dietary Supplements here


Jan/Feb 2020 — SAFE Banking Act

Mitch can attach all sorts of legislation to this bill

Everybody expects he will insert his legislation to open up banking for the Hemp & CBD industry to this bill

If necessary, he could also attach his legislation to legalize CBD in Foods and Dietary Supplements here

He can also attach legislation to improve the USDA Regs here as well
