For example, when a monitor and 2 federal judges say the company was liquidated for $4.34M several times, I accept that as a fact and don't need to see some mystery letter because I get "locked" on one definition of a word when there are other definitions that "affirm" the meaning. The burden of proof has been met, regardless if it hasn't for others, and I'm not "guessing" at the outcome just because someone thinks I am. See how that works?
