They got taken out, so if it was a short, they'll be buying back higher.

Keep in mind that most of this trading is driven by algorithm, and when real buying kicks in and changes the trading pattern the algorithm adjusts and scrambles to cover the shares they were shorting in making the market.

This is getting fun to watch...
