'This close"...reminds me of a mathematical problem introduced by the Greek
Pythagoras illustrating a severe problem with Math; If one uses fractions and one approaches a wall 100 feet away; as you towards it is 50 feet- 1/2; 25 feet, 1/4; 99 feet 99/100's: the problem is that one cannot actually reach the wall mathematically as there is an infinite amount of fractions that would go on infinitely such that one could never , mathematically, ever get to the wall..

So old Pythagoras (living in Sicily BTW) invented calculus; scholars say Newton and Leibniz discovered calculus but they would be wrong .

Drinking Greek wine got me thinking...about things. 'so close'.
