Sometimes things get a bit confusing because people (including CEOs) just make up terms that have no basis in reality and unfortunately, posters seem to like the word or term and run with it. Hypothicating the bonds is an example. Hypothication is nothing more than using something of value to obtain a loan. It isn't something special that Rufus thought up to dazzle the financial markets.
