Can you name a major country that HAS obtained a total victory since WWII?

Grenada was 'SQUIRREL!', never mind the dead Marines in Beirut.

We got containment in Korea, and the subsequent success of S. Korea makes it seem like a 'win'.

Vietnam was a misguided attempt to get a Korea type win. Geopolitics was not going to allow for blowing up the dikes and killing 2 million N. Vietnamese on top of the mounting kinetically induced deaths.

Iran and Iraq fought to a stalemate. Ditto India and Pakistan.

Russia marched out of Afghanistan without a victory of any kind.

First Gulf War was a model of how to marshal global support and overwhelming force to win a limited victory, expulsion and preservation of access to Saudi oil.

Face it, WWII was an existential threat. Nothing subsequent has remotely approached that.
