Hate to use logic, especially when I can be so off track, so someone tell me I'm wrong. If LMT were "in the house", it's share price would go down...(the acquirer), and the logical play would be to buy the LMT puts (like the $85's) and NOC if they wanted to stay in the game, would also go down...thereby making the NOC $65's attractive.

But like Anne said, it seems like they are doing everything in their power to get every single share from the little guy. Even spreading a bidding war rumor... one thing for sure, we'll never know the real story. Someone else said "these guys know how to keep a secret."
