dillution is not really a good thing issuing more stock hurts shareholder value when such a thing is done...When it is done to rais capital for the company for capital ewxpansion/improvment or R&D or other things that bring in value to the company it is a good thing and most (repitable) companies will only do so if the stock/company and pps is strong, but as a reward to shareholders it only causes dillution of the stock and a fall in the pps.
