Keep in mind that many countries under-report infectious diseases (either due to politics or lack of routine medical screening.) Do you have any idea how accurate this map is and where the numbers came from? Yes, it is from the World Health Organization, but they rely on reports from individual health ministries unless they have people in the field doing random tests.
