Yes, that's a retro floor standing ashtray. Currently only used when my buddy Jim stops by and goes out on the lanai to feed his addiction.

I forgot to answer earlier. Yes, the seawall is what they call Rip Rap. It's graded, then covered with a heavy fabric that will pass water but not dirt, then chunks of coral rock averaging around 8 inches are stacked over the fabric. This type of seawall is great for the environment because the rock goes well into the water and all kinds of crabs, crustaceans, shrimp and tiny fish make it their home.
