I have been invested in PharmaCyte for over four years now. I was here for the pre-IND meeting. I was here for the Italian Job. I was here for "we are there".
I will tell you that I really have not for a moment thought this was a scam OR that our CEO is disingenuous. KW appears sincere in his desires to help people. He gets paid the big bucks because the task he has been given is difficult.
Trying to grow our cell banks in Italy was KW's biggest mistake. As a business man I can see that it is good to outsource labor to get things done cheaper. This is a great strategy if you are assembling widgets but not for something as sensitive as growing cells. In this case it was Italy's strange regulatory environment that got us.
Boy did these executives learn from that mistake. Since we started doing business with Eurofins there has been nothing but steady progress going forward.
"We are There", This really did upset me personally. This statement means different things to different people. To a geologist this could mean the Holocene (the last ten thousand years). To an investor this means the next trading day. I believe he was trying to tell us that we are close, but he himself did not realize how many tests there were and how long it would take. He, like myself, is not a biologist. Like one of my colleagues always says "Don't ask the janitor to find the square root of something". KW is out of his element when setting timelines for biologics.
Sometimes I appear negative. I am just realistic. When I see 1.3billion shares outstanding and a PPS of less than 4cents my mind immediately goes to reverse split.
I want the IND. That gives us so much more credibility. I sincerely hope we get positive news about the soon to be filed IND.
Other good news is possible. If we enter into a Joint Venture with a notable company such as Thermo Fisher we also gain credibility and access to far more resources. This would be great news too.
Sorry for the defense of KW. I know most of you are not fans. Just giving my thoughts. GLTA
