In our South American odyssey i'll use the internet and books .. the first

Open Veins of Latin America
Five centuries of the Pillage of a Continent
Eduardo Galeano translated by Cedric Belfrage
orig pblishe 1971

.. by whom?

Europeans and the elite of the countries ..
America and the elite of the countries ..

Harry Belafonte - Jump In The Line (Shake Senora) #msg-11319454

those at the bottom paid such a miniscule wage they had nothing
to spend and so no way could a vibrant consumer economy develop

.. history is enlightening, eh?

on reading your post it occcured to me that Peron seemed a chardonnay
man .. populist programs cynically used to get elected. On reading italy i
thought facist .. this article confirmed those feelings. haven't read it
all yet. I suppose part of the game is to try to find errors in articles
or to find another article which questions some factual info in another. ..
need relationships .. sleepless last night .. early to zzz tonight.

cheers mick .. must try to dance about kennedy and monnroe, and sept 11 also.
