All good. I spent a week in Bozeman Montana two years ago and didn't see a gun, so i'm thinking some may not be so concerned about them as there just aren't many visible.

Open carry is legal in Montana for anyone at least 18 years old that can legally own a firearm with several restrictions. The federal minimum age is 18 years old, although 14-year-olds can handle a firearm under direct supervision of a parent or guardian. Some areas are off-limits, including schools and federal buildings.

Concealed carry without a permit is legal outside the official boundaries of towns or cities

That's if i'm reading the above right. Does that mean open carry is allowed inside boundaries of towns and cities, while concealed carry is not?

I spent the time in and around Bozeman and don't recall seeing one gun anywhere. Lots of fishing rods, but no guns.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
