I think you underestimate the contributions of Fowler. When dealing with a new technology you have 5 entities that must be satisfied

Inventor (Fowler)
End User (Fowler)
Designer (Fowler)
Engineer (Outsourced Ximedica)
Manufacturer (I think Ximedica will be manufacturer but either way it's another department within Ximedica)

When he left you had to replace 3 major departments that were all 1 person before. All 5 of those mentioned are impossible to get on the same page. Especially when they are ALL outsourced. I think we're both right depending on the situation. With Titan everything being outsourced is THE huge risk. If Fowler were still there you would be right. But he's not.
