All his was his attempt to distract, so didn't go there.

Good point again made though that no one is calling for all guns to be taken away.

Also didn't mention the statistical fact that a gun in the house puts all of the occupants in greater danger of meeting a bullet.

For what that obvious observation is worth if there are greater positive personal reasons for some to have one.
