They don't have mental issues in Switzerland? England? Canada? Australia? France? Germany? [insert first world country with orders of magnitude fewer gun deaths per capita than America here]?

Yeah, you're damn right they have mental issues. Gun fetishization as pushed by the NRA and all the gun porn magazines is a mental issue and goes beyond the 2nd amendment and the right to defend yourself. It's a sickness.
