The FDA publishes a list of what you are allowed to put in food.

Companies don't submit GRAS "mixtures" for these ingredients.

If one is to manufacture a food product, they must review this list for approved ingredients.

One could even use one that isn't on this list, but take a huge risk of being caught by the FDA.

Use any mixture of any of the approved ingredients...have at it...no need to apply.

GRAS 1 and done. Self GRAS without a lengthy record of safe human consumption...pumpy nonsense.
