They won't be a powerhouse in the industry, but if they start to make profits with sales increasing, a larger company will buy them in the future. That's where the capital gains will come from for the stockholders.

The questions you have why not direct to the company for the answers. When investors go by "IF", they never will be stocks sold. It's a gamble like anything else.
