Rachel Maddow talks with Nicole Wallace about her surprise at instances in which Robert Mueller characterized behavior by the Donald Trump and his campaign as criminal conduct, going beyond what was said in Mueller's report.
Schiff said late, 'i gather from your evidence and your report that knowingly encouraging and accepting foreign assistance in a campaign was an unethical thing to do.' Mueller jumping in said to Schiff, "And a crime."
On that Maddow says, 'though clearly Mueller seemed older and didn't seem to on top of everything, he brought up the fact that it was a crime. And Schiff wasn't even asking about that.
And Maddow says, "Mueller, more than i thought he would, in the end, on that and on Trump's promotion of Wikileaks, and on some..." of the stuff that Mueller said was ongoing, and on
the meetings, et al, of Russians with campaign people went further than i expected of him.' "Yes, he acknowledged criminal conduct, and he put it on the president and his campaign."
Mueller kept coming back to, just because he didn't think the president could be indicted, he did see that others could be.
Mueller's was a report for Congress and others in on-going cases to take things further. And that's what his testimony made clear.

“There was one Republican member who I won’t embarrass by singling him out by name, he embarrassed himself enough by suggesting that the troll farm, the Internet Research Agency, maybe wasn’t a Russian operation and that having been proven, he is kind of taking the conquered management side in that ongoing case against the Russian troll farm linked to that Russian oligarch,” she said. https://www.mediaite.com/tv/maddow-calls-out-gop-rep-for-doubting-russian-interference-crazy-fox-news-primetime-conspiracy-stuff/
