I'm not ignoring any thing. Yes they should have taken the meeting, and if anything came of it the FBI should be notified.
The clear implication is not conspiracy. It was clear that they wanted to know what they had. It's not like the Trump campaign paid a law firm, to pay a research company, to pay a foreigner to get a fake story from Kremlin sources.
