When will the stability and data corruption issues with the Itanium get fixed?

It only affected early production McKinleys. Madison and
Deerfield were never affected.

So Dan, when will AMD fix Opteron problems like:

- potential deadlock with locked transactions
- deadlock in multiprocessor systems from memory ordering
- incorrect processor operation due to prefetch feature
- RET instruction may cause return to incorrect EIP
- coherency failure from 128 bit streaming store.

Ouch!, I count four separate coherency bugs. So who let
them flush this turd out of the AMD lab in such a state?
BTW, I *really* like the messed up return bug. It makes
life so much more interesting for unsuspecting software
developers. :-P
