DJ Isonics Puts 2Q Semiconductor Oper Income At $150,000>ISON

Isonics Corp. (ISON) said it expects to report fiscal second-quarter operating income from semiconductor products and services of $150,000, compared with a year-earlier operating loss of $1.42 million, boosted by anticipated strong revenue growth.
The Golden, Colo., semiconductor and defense company on Tuesday said semiconductor segment revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 nearly tripled to $3.5 million from $1.22 million a year earlier, and was up 20% from the first quarter.
Isonics shares recently changed hands at 88 cents, up 14 cents, or 19%, on Nasdaq composite volume of more than 2.2 million shares, more than four times the daily average.
