Beautiful. The first time i remember personally experiencing multi-housing within a wall, with
guardhouse gates, was the first time i remember visiting my mother's family house in Seattle.
I recall thinking, maybe about 1950. "They have to be friggin' kidding!", as
just the very idea of living inside a walled community was totally alien to me.
