This blows up the entire opinion piece:

“After my election, I have more flexibility.” A clearer expression of a desire to collude with the Russians to win an election would be difficult to find. If we believe our intelligence community that there was Russian meddling in 2016, we can say that it was Obama who allowed it.

All presidents have more flexibility in their 2nd terms, for obvious reasons. Now, what exactly did Putin do to help Obama beat Romney? What an asinine claim.

As for allowing the Russians to interfere? Obama wanted a statement from McConnel condemning Russian interference. No soap, said the turtle. And of course Trump kissed Putin's ass in Helsinki with his unbelievable "I don't know why they would" bullshit.

Meanwhile....NOT that difficult to find.

It is certainly true that Trump, both as candidate and president, has made statements about Russia and to Russia that he should not have made, such as inviting them to find more of the “private” emails of Clinton.

Way to soft-pedal collusion in plain sight. And of course all of the Trump associates lying about contacts with the Russians means nothing to Trump enabling jackasses like yourself.
