It is hard to not think about the kids who are enjoying this June weather who will end up having their blood spilled because of the republican chickenhawks, yet again. And not just American kids, enjoying their final solstice.

Since laws and following them seem so quaint now, legal remedies are becoming more in the rear view mirror, options are going to get pretty limited, the ballot box might be too far in the future (if we even follow the election laws anymore, signs are pointing to flouting them).

I am afraid this could end ugly. Although, the thought of a guillotine in the Rose Garden, with a special attachment for the Turtle's turn, is not as unthinkable as it used to be.

The thought of Bolton being dipped in a boiling barrel of crude oil from the Mid East has a certain symmetry to it, though.

Trump cultists will turn on a dime, for all bullies are cowards; they would fall into line in a second should their fuhrer be deposed and a military general or a copy machine repairman or something emerge as the leader prior to new elections being called. I get where Pelosi is coming from, to avoid more divisiveness, but sometimes filing for divorce is the only solution; if we called it divorce instead of impeachment, trump might even like it. Anything less might mean a revo- I don't even want to say it. Maybe our days of completely peaceful changes in government are going to be tested in a way that scares everyone into obeying the constitution again.
