You think we have more control over the oil now than before the Iraq war? I find it odd that one could believe that.

Russia just took South Ossetia via a very questionable election a couple of weeks ago. The west made the tiniest of peeps over that and in the end respected the vote as valid. RUssia has damn near cut GEORGIA in HALF. no one is aware. WHo has better military options over the oil in that region now?

Moscow made it very plain to Europe and the rest of the world last winter that they are the ones who controls which direction the oil and gas in the Ukrainian pipelines flow.

Iran being armed to the teeth with state of the art Russian military hardware gives the U.S. more control over oil? I am not sure we are watching the same movie.
