Good afternoon kk. You had it right, I was off beaming. I managed to get the first of three beams wrecked out along with the corner post and top plate from above the beam. For some reason, the termites stopped there and didn't continue up into the mansard rafters and ceiling joists. There's never any rhyme or reason to why they eat one piece and skip the next.

It was a good day and I quit before God turned up the thermostat.
