You do realize empty shells still trade and specific assets can be sold to a private company if the largest shareholder approves right?
We can all “care” but reality is plain and simple. RDYM (I m sure you can DD which company I m talking about) was trading on the Nasdaq!! the company went bankrupt and was delisted. It remerged as RMTD ( did I lose ya yet?) and continued to file SEC Docs for investors to see and read.
Its quite simple, shareholder equity was in the negative when you look at liabilities and revenue (including assets). No company is going to purchase common shares when there are tens of billions to purchase when you can buy “ONLY THE LISTED ASSETS OF REMAINING VALUE IN THE 10Q”
Those assets year over year depreciated, financials prove this.
