My thoughts exactly. The conventioneers will always be a short indoor walk away, year around.

And I'd count on the Chicago Convention Bureau, AND the industries that choose to exhibit, both touting the nearby 'recreational gaming' opportunities to companies.

The Thompson Center is intriguing for the CTA that is right there and the METRA not far away. Maybe Elon Musk can put a spur in as well.
