I tend to agree with most of what you have said and believe China and Russia only get as involved as necessary. In other words, if all that is taken up are against nuclear arms with no hint of trying to occupy, then China and Russia remain as sideline support, but no direct participation. I doubt they want any part of this. BUT if it goes further than that, who knows. I think China and Russia must know this already, hence their staunch stance against any action, sanctions or otherwise against Iran. Obviously this is all speculation and makes for interesting conversation, but I can't help to wonder why Israel would not do something. They fear a nuclear Iran, as do many of the neighboring Arab nations who are walking a tightrope between loyalty to their culture and the madness of a nut with nukes...
