Sandy's email from earlier in the week continues to intrigue me, as posted by uwlungman. First of all, contrary to the expectations of many, we should not expect BKMP to have "income" per se. We will realize gains in the "eventual purchase by a third party." That statement is what continues to interest me. What does "eventual" mean? And which "third party" might he be referring to?
Here is the email reply I received from Sandy--my questions are at the bottom:

Hi XXXXX:
Yes income is being generated, under accounting rules becuase we are a minority position we account for it based on the investment method.
No BKMP does not receive any income, that is not the nature of the investment, once the company is in a positive position and declares dividends then BKMP will get rewarded for its investment and of course on the eventual purchase by a third party is where we will make the big killing on the stock, that is why we are invloved for the long term appreciation in the investment.

Sandy
Sandy, I read the latest financials and am wondering why no income is given for TFN subscriptions or PPV fees. TFN has been offered for over a year via some cable companies so the free viewing period should be long over with income being generated. Doesn't BKMP receive income from TFN? Something seems amiss.
