I appreciate your posts. I am thankful for their sound reasoning and insights. I have my own theory about Grimes. I think the land owner(O&G rights owner) found out how much money could be involved and wanted a lot more. BIGN could not afford what he/she wanted nor the clout to renegotiate. The deal Lancaster has nearly accomplished will give them more "clout" to deal with Grimes land owner. To have the NewBIGN do the wells on Grimes will benefit both parties immensely. To have Hydroslotter in the family so to speak helps this negotiation as well. Just my two cents worth.
