There's all this talk about recapitalizing the GSEs as a precursor to release while they continue to profit Q after Q, year after year for almost a decade paying back all the capital force fed by the FED to prop up the economy. That proves the GSEs are already more than sufficiently capitalized to thrive outside conservatorship. Trump knows this and will cut them loose soon.
